From January 2018 all new cabs in London must have zero emission and must be pollution free.

Not only is this going to improve the environment, but it is going to save taxi drivers loads of loot.

The new British built London taxies will be known as the "London Electric Vehicle Company" (LEVC).

These vehicles will be built at a factory in Coventry, owned by Chinese car giant, Geely.

Geely have invested millions, also creating hundreds of many new jobs.

Technology will be drawn from the best British designers and engineers, as well as the technical expertise from it's sister company, Volvo.

An interesting factor would be to know if they are going to shatter-proof the windows of this vehicle, or will they be installing a Klingshield type laminated Smash and grab window film onto the windows?
